So much to be glad about.

What good news we have had this season. There is truly profit in all labour. So what are your decisions ? What are you going to do this next year? What are the outcomes that you dream of?
One thing I would say to everyone is remain consistent. Consistency pays big dividends.

11 Plus torture is not necessary

Do you know that some families have experienced extreme pressure over the English 11 Plus preparations?

Family life became affected, adults became tense, mothers cried and some children reacted to the pressure by acting up at school.  I encourage qualified families to enrol early enough for excellent English tuition for their children. This wise investment will reduce/remove 11 Plus pressure.

Perhaps your child is able but you have struggled a bit with teaching writing skills at home. So maybe you went out and bought Descriptosaurus to help the young writer. Great book, by the way. I highly recommend it; but it is not a full cure for what I call ‘describing because I have to’ and neither does a book do what I do. J

 We have had such a great time in the summer tuition sessions. Our year 3-5 learners got a lot done in comprehension and writing. In addition, our 11 Plus team got through a good number of texts, boosted their vocabulary and learned master tips for answering questions worth higher points.
